[Coming Soon] Ribbon Guillotine OTKs

Earlier this year, I created a cute ouji character with guillotine stockings for a class. I really enjoyed the design and quite a few people said they would like them as real legwear! I haven't seen guillotine motifs in lolita fashion and I thought it would be a nice little niche to fill.

Unlike the artwork, I ultimately decided to make socks instead of tights and to start, in just black & white. (Hopefully I can release more colorways in the future!) I really wanted my design to stay solid and knit socks seemed like the best option that would keep the design from warping while also being the most size inclusive.

I've never manufactured clothing items before so this was a completely new experience, and it was actually easier than I thought it would be. I already had a specific design in mind and sent in a reference sheet with front, back, and side views as well as specific details I wanted (Scalloped tops, colored toes and heels)

Scroll down for a first look at the physical samples from my manufacturer! I'm happy with how they look so far. The design translated super well to knit.

Keep an eye out for when they go up for sale! I plan to drop a limited amount online so I can have stock available for sale in-person at Harajuku Market NYC and The Great Lace and then of course have any leftovers available online once those events are over! I'm new to blogging so I definitely recommend following my socials @Qingerrr__ and @MagicalGirlMortuary for the most recent updates on conventions and upcoming releases!

Love you!
